Stanley Tao, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon. He earned his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. He completed both his internship and residency programs in orthopedic surgery at the Medical College of Ohio and a sports medicine and arthroscopy fellowship at Orthopaedic Research of Virginia. He has obtained a certificate of added qualification in Sports Medicine. Named annually since 2002 as an American Top Surgeon, Dr. Tao specializes in the areas of sports medicine and arthroscopic joint surgeries. He also serves as a team physician for local high schools and is an orthopedic consultant for Shawnee State University. Scott Orthopedic Center is located in the Highlawn Medical Building in Huntington, West Virginia, with two satellite locations in Barboursville and Hurricane, WV.

I would recommend Dr. Tao to anyone who is having a knee problem.

Doctor Tao was amazing, I was in so much pain i couldn't sleep for over 2 years i fought with the pain hoping it would go away. Then I came to Doctor Tao , I didnt't want to do surgery so opted for the injections after several injections not getting the results i expected i opted for surgery. That was the best thing

Dr Tao always listened to every concern and addressed every concern. He went above and beyond to work with me and my employer in making it possible to return to work ASAP. Every office visit from the initial walk-in visit to the surgery and all follow ups were quick and just as they should have been. Highly recommend.
