Dad spent few weeks at Carillon recovering / rehabbing from stroke. For the most part staff was attentive, compassionate, professional which helped to make this difficult time less stressful for my family - couldn't have asked for more. Would recommend Carillon to my friends and family.
if you're thinking about joining the staff at carillon nursing facility and you are a newly state certified cna be very careful. i have witnessed dismissals without explaination or consideration. what cowards that call you on the phone and tell you not to return and hangup. if you go there to them, no one knows anything and the one who calls will not speak to you at all, how professional is that. just because you don't want to pay these workers as union members, benefits and raises. if your position is one of supervisor than standup and do your duty, if it is one in human resources and you have the capacity to hire and fire than stand your ground and confront the individual one on one and document your actions, what do you have to hide and why? you are not god playing with people's lives. the system there needs to be reviewed and it will. it has to start somewhere. you go to school to offer something back to your fellow human being just to get kicked by another, how sad!
Physical therapy was lacking. Upon discharge, was released in poor health and family not briefed.
