Located in Huntington, Ind., Lincoln Elementary School serves students in kindergarten though grade five. Its academic curriculum includes several subjects, such as reading, math, language arts, social studies and science. The school provides instruction in art, music and physical education. It also conducts Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) classes. Lincoln Elementary School offers Title I and special education programs. Its media center stocks several books, magazines, newspapers, dictionaries and reference materials. The school conducts scholastic book fairs that generate funds to purchase new books for the library. Its computer laboratory engages students in keyboarding lessons. Lincoln Elementary School is a part of the Huntington County Community School Corporation.
