Modular Wind Energy produces wind turbine blades that feature a revolutionary structural technology, resulting in longer, lighter, more reliable blades. This allows our customers – manufacturers of multi-megawatt wind turbines – to offer energy to wind generation asset owners at a lower cost. Our patented pultrusion process produces the highest quality composite components, allowing us to manufacture divided blades without risk of certain serial defects associated with conventional blade building techniques. Our blade features greater stiffness, strength, and up to 20% lighter design, which enables greater lengths and a lower cost of energy when compared to shorter, heavier, conventional blades. Based on decades of experience in the aerospace sector, our blades reflect the advanced structural integrity of an airplane wing, backed by our 25-year design life and industry-leading extended warranty, which includes scheduled maintenance and real-time load monitoring. Additionally, our blades offer inherent cost savings because they can be transported and assembled onsite and can be manufactured in almost any traditional blade production facility.
