General Info
Our goal is to raise performance thinkers, not spectators which must constantly be entertained from without or mere echoes of the adults which surround them. We esteem both accumulated knowledge and creative expression through a variety of unique experiences in all curriculum areas as we teach them to see in full color, hear in full tone, and sense at the optimum with their organs of smell, taste, touch, rhythmic, kinesthetic (weight & motion), thermal (temperature) and organic sensation (self esteem, internal/emotions). We want them to observe and experience life to the fullest and reach their own "Creative Heights"!

Both my kids went to Great Adventures Learning Center and we feel so lucky to have found this gem. The school is so friendly and supportive, and they offer a safe and fun learning environment. They teach social and behavioral skills along with the academics and I felt the both of my kids were well-prepared for kindergarten. They love to go back and visit and really miss their teachers!
My daughter attended from 18 months to 5 years. I can't thank everyone at GALC enough for being additional Moms to my baby. I never once worried about her safety. I love everyone at GALC and can't praise them enough for all they taught my baby. I tell everyone looking for PreSchool to call GALC! Thank you and miss you all! Bridget Tedrick
Both of my children attended this school for years and it is fantastic!! All of the teachers are incredible, from infants all the way up to pre-k. They have lots of fun activities for the kids and the atmosphere is like a big family. I highly recommend enrolling your kids!
My daughter has attended GALC for a year now. She loves it! She turned 3 Feb., 2011 and is counting to 20 and can count with one to one object correspondence to 10. When our efforts to potty train were failing at home, she was perfectly trained at preschool! Now, thanks to their consistency and high expectations, my daughter is fully potty trained, dresses herself including shoes, can cut, paste, paint, and draw! The friendly, knowledgable staff have helped me so much with my first time parent questions. I appreciate the daily report that has her eating habits, potty schedule, sleep time, and lessons for the day listed. I can't say enough about this school. You can't beat the price. Their academic instruction is rigorous, fun, and relevant. We love GALC!

Great school! Building looks a little warn down in some places, but is kept very clean and organized inside. The owner/director adds some small touches that makes it feel like home. The teachers are friendly, loving, attentive and flexible. Our daughter is currently in attendance and has been for over a year. We came from a home daycare and this was an excellent transitional place before we send her to kindergarten.
My son went to GALC for 3 years. Their pre-K is the best. When my son started Kinder- he was the only child that could count past 100, read, spell & write with clearly. The teachers are more concerned about teaching, loving and the development of your child than they are about all the " Bells & Whistles " other preschools offer. It's nested in a home environment & far back from any danger of public streets. The teachers are so loving !!. There summer activities are amazing!.& the xmas programs the kids perform is wonderful, always standing room only. And they do all of this cheaper than all the other schools I visited. I interviewed & visited 6 other schools, they offered lots of cools toys, pretty walls, and a hefty tuition!
Both of my girls (4 & 2) go to GALC and love it. They both are very excited to go to school, which is a great start. The director and all the teachers are very loving and show both the girls lots of unconditional love. They are always doing great activities with the kids and great art & crafts projects. I would definitely recommend Great Adventure Learning Center.
highly recommended because the care you receive there is outstanding. I know that my son feels loved everyday. The staff there is amazing. You can be assured that you child will be cared for. It is a very safe and clean environment that I know my son enjoys. The feeling I have knowing that when I leave my son is happy is the best. So anyone looking for a great school this is the place.
to sum up, she is devoted to the preschool and the children attending. she wants the children to know the basic of learning many different skills before attending first grade, so the transition is not as stressful and then school will be a positive experience not a negative one. To succeed in life a parent needs to make that important diction for there kids early in life
I am really pleased with the staff especially the director. I love that she is there throughout the day and love the way she invovled as well as the nice teachers. My daughter loves going to school everyday now. I really enjoyed their open house they did an awesome job Great work teacher keep up the good work. I would strongly recommend this to other parents check out the center and ask about their open house and maybe ask to see their gym and dramatic play room.
They are very loving teachers!
I read the review from BB of Westminister, and was surprised. My two boys were at GALC, and now my daughter is. So We have been there over 6 years. All the staff is very attentive, loving, and professional. My oldest boy, who is in second grade, still talks about his time at GALC. and loves to visit. I have always felt good about leaving my children. I love the activities that they offer the children, and the opportunities that they give parents to be involved. The family B.B.Q./open house, holiday program, and thanksgiving feast are always special. I looked at alot of different schools before we started at GALC. What impressed me the most about GALC, was that the owner was there everyday, and that she had teachers that had been there for 3 or more years. All three of my children have had 2 of the same teachers. I have never had a problem with them communicating with my husband or me. I feel lucky to have found GALC.
My child was injured by another child 3 different times and I was pleased on how they handled the situation. I was not made aware of 2nd time and finally on the 3rd I asked what was being done about this. I had to push the issue of how this was going to be stopped instead of them making me aware that this was being handled. I also did not like how some of the staff gossiped about other parents and private issues of other families in front of me and other parents. This was not professional at all. Finally, one time when I was picking up my child, the kitchen had large tubs of pudding, that was served for afternoon snack, not covered with several flies hoovering on the edges. Overall, I did not feel my child was in the best place for their 1st experience of school and was removed immediately.
