Dr. Tanagho is very personable and nice to talk to, however she is not very detail minded and is too quick to prescribe very potent medications without explaining the medications' horrible side effects! I was a patient of hers and she did not give me Informed Consent about the medications that she prescribed to me. She did not explain other much safer forms of treatment available to me. She did not explain the common side effects of these drugs which maybe permanent or irreversible. In fact, I just received a letter from the Medical Board dated June 26, 2012, wherein they found evidence that Dr. Amal B. Tanagho departed from the standard of care by not informing me of the benefits and side effects of the medications she prescribed to me. You have been warned!
