Formed in 1967, American Automated Engineering provides composite ablative insulation and structures for the solid and liquid rocket industry. The company designs and manufactures specialized process equipment, such as tape wrap machines, high tonnage presses, ovens, autoclaves, hydroclaves and high capability x-ray. In addition, American Automated Engineering manufactures various materials, including carbon phenolic, quartz phenolic, glass epoxy, glass polyimide, etc. Some of its customers include Aerojet, Atlantic Research Corporation, BP Chemicals, First Manufacturing, Missile Command U.S. Army, Raytheon Missile Systems Division and SAIC.
