Atlantic Financial Federal Credit Union, founded in 1950, was originally known as the Baltimore Telephone Federal Credit Union. It is a nonprofit, full-service financial organization and its deposits are insured by the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund. Its products and services include savings accounts, individual retirement accounts, checking accounts, overdraft protection, credit cards, Internet banking, online bill paying services, online loan applications and e-statements. It also offers loans for new and used automobiles, recreational vehicles, boats and motorcycles, consumer loans and a variety of mortgage options, including home equity loans and loans for first-time homebuyers. Atlantic Financial has offices in Baltimore and Hunt Valley, Md., and a branch location in Virginia.
