Roger Baker and Joe Works established B&W Custom Truck Beds in 1987. The business was born when Works and Baker recognized a need for the manufacture of quality truck beds. While they recognized that several truck bed manufacturers were in business in Kansas, they set out to build one of the best quality, most functional and best looking truck beds in the business. Works and Baker began building custom truck beds to meet the various needs of customers seeing that the practical needs of farmers and ranchers require providing a variety of tools, such as hydraulic bale loaders and gooseneck ball hitches. The company s products include turnover ball hitches, tow and stow receiver hitches, companion recreational hitches, custom-built truck beds, Guardian headache racks, flat bed hitches and easy loader bale movers.
