When calling to make an appointment I told them I needed to make an appointment with an oral surgeon for my daughter. When I got the appointment and waited over an hour in the waiting room she was seen by their dentist,not oral surgeon. Not once was I told I would have to see their dentist in order to get a referral to their oral surgeon. I should have been given this information with my initial phone call. After being in the office well over an hour and a half I asked the office person what I needed to wait for, she said I needed to speak to their treatment counselor. I could not wait anly longer since I needed to pick up my children from a neighbor who picked them up at day care. The office person told me the treatment counselor would call me. After 2 weeks I called Royal Dental and asked for thier office manager who called me back 4 business days later. I explained my situation to her and she seemed to be argumentative with me. I was told that I refused the treatment plan which is why I was not called. This is not true, my daughter is in pain and needs an oral surgeon, why would I refuse the treatment plan? The office person said I told her that I couldnt wait and whatever. Unacceptable! I was told by this office person I would be called. I will not be going back to this office for any more of my or my family's dental needs. The dentis himself was great as well as his staff, it's just the office person they need to train more efficiently.
