After taking my cat to other places and him not getting better after 2 and a half months I decided to try out VCA animal hospital. My cat barely ate and kept vomiting. I couldn't make him eat and he lost over 7 pounds. I was terrified for his life and felt like no one could help me. When Dr. Trlica took a look at him she automatically knew what was wrong. She said we need to do an ultrasound because she thinks that my cat ate something. She was right, there was a foreign object in his intestine. The next morning she preformed the surgery and I got to take him back in 3 days. He is eating now and gaining wait. Slowly he is recovering from everything that happened to him and I couldn't be happier to have my baby at home with me! Thanks to VCA animal hospital my cat is alive ( other people were suggesting to put him down). The staff and veterinarians here are amazing. The communication is great, Dr. T still calls to check up on my kitty to make sure he is doing well. The best vet place I had ever been too! If you love your animals you will take them here!

For the past few years, I've been taking all my pets(even some strays) to Dr.Trlica. Good and bad times, she has always been very caring and understanding. She took great care of us to my best satisfaction. Dr.T is very professional and kind. The staff is also wonderful. The clinic is organized, I never had to wait. I would recommend anyone who needs pet care to her facility.

I met Dr. Slomer and her staff four days after I moved to Houston in 1990, and have remained with her, regardless of where I was living in the greater Houston area. She has provided consistent and compassionate care to all my "babies" over the years, crying with me over the losses and celebrating the joys. I recommend her to all my friends and woouldn't think of allowing anyone else to care for my "loved" ones.

When I moved to Houston from Dallas I left my dogs in alot of different Kennels at their Vets. I was never satisfied with any of them. I like to know that my dogs are real taken care of and that they are safe there at all times. I have been taking my two dogs now to VCA Ashford Animal Hospital for years now and i really like the people there. They seem so nice and friendly and I feel good about leaving my two dogs there. They treat them good and the Doctors there are excellent! I would recommend this animals hospital to anybody that needs one for their pets.
