This is one of the reasons we ask you to restrain your pet. We recommend that animals be placed on a leash or in pet carriers before entering the practice.

  Tanner Lakes Animal Clinic is a small animal veterinary practice located in Houston, Texas since 1999. Our goal and commitment is to provide quality veterinary care throughout the life of your pet. We will strive to provide your pet with excellent preventative care, early detection and treatment of diseases, and quality surgical services. Tanner Lakes Animal Clinic cares for your pets as we would our own.
• Spaying and Neutering
  Elective surgery such as spaying or neutering can be performed at any age, however Dr. Ken recommends each patient complete their puppy/kitten vaccinations before elective surgery. Therefore, most pets will be sterilized around 4-5 months of age. Your situation may be different, so please call the office (713-937-4484) if you have any questions.

  Laboratory: Our in-house laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis and parasite testing. We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations.

  We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. We also work with specialist practices when certain diagnostic procedures are required and for second opinions. Our clinic includes an in-house pharmacy, surgical suite, and digital radiography.

  Dr. Ken is a USDA accredited veterinarian and can assist you with ISO compliant microchips, rabies titers, documentation, USDA endorsement, and treatments required by foreign countries to avoid quarantine of your pet.

  Dr. Ken Malinowski, commonly referred to as Dr. Ken by clientele, was born and raised in Houston, Texas. He began working for a small animal veterinarian while in high school and continued as an undergraduate in college. Dr. Ken graduated from Texas A & M University, College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997 and opened Tanner Lakes Animal Clinic in December, 1999.
