With more than 700 stores, including one in Fremont, Calf., The Men's Wearhouse is one of North America's largest specialty retailers of men's apparel. Each store offers a full selection of designer, brand name and private label suits, sport coats, furnishings and accessories, as well as tuxedo rentals, men s shoes and casual wear. The first Men s Wearhouse was opened in Houston in 1973 and is still in business. The company expanded dramatically after its initial public offering in 1992, opening an average of one store per week. From 2000 to 2002, The Men s Wearhouse was named in Fortune s list of The 100 Best Companies to Work For.
