The Stevenson Middle School, located in Houston, offers an extensive curriculum for students in grades six through eight. The school has an enrollment of more than 1,150 students and is affiliated with the Houston Independent School District. It is a science and mathematics magnet school and also offers a wide range of other subjects, including English, language arts, writing, social studies, and health and physical education. In addition, it offers fine arts, foreign language, music and computer technology. The school provides a number of facilities that include art rooms, computer laboratory, library and media center and a cafeteria. The Stevenson Middle School also has a department of parent engagement operated by the school district to strengthen the relationship between parents and schools through mutual trust, collaboration, training, and effective communication to ensure the academic and personal success of all students.
