- The ultimate goal of the educational infrastructure at St. Marks is to assist parents in their God-given responsibility to educate their children-spiritually, mentally, socially, emotionally, and physically as each child discovers God's plan and purpose for their lives.Additionally, our programs are designed to promote Christ-like character in our children that will be applicable to their future family, professional and ,most importantly, spiritual lives. We've created an environment which fosters the attainment of that lofty goal. It's doable in this day and age! and here are some of the things that help us get it done: Feature of our early childhood program: Low student/teacher ratios Developmental, Christ-centered curriculum Extra-curricular activities offered on campus Care available from 7 am - 6 pm Two separate, age-appropriate playgrounds St. Mark promotes active learning in an atmosphere of Christian love, allowing your child to learn through curriculum based instruction and techniques that are appropriate to their development level. Our Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten curriculum is designed around the use of Learning Centers. This allows early learners to work independently and at their own pace. Features of our K-5 program: Smartboards in all classrooms iPads available for small group learning 50% of elementary staff hold a Master's Degree Off-site field trips and on-site educational guests Enrichment classes in Spanish, art, music & PE Our faith-infused curriculum prepares our youngest students for Middle School. A professional staff of trained Christian educators, low student/teacher ratio and parental involvement make it possible to realize our school’s mission.
