Salam Gharaybeh, MD, is a pediatric nephrology expert with UT Physicians. She sees pediatric patients for a wide variety of disorders and diseases that affect the kidney and urinary tract. Dr. Gharaybeh believes in building strong, professional relationships with all of her patients, their families, and other caretakers. As part of her commitment to providing exceptional care, she looks forward to helping her patients understand their condition through education, open communication, and empathy. Dr. Gharaybeh graduated from medical school in 1991 at Jordan University of Science and Technology, followed by a residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 1997. In 2010, she completed her fellowship program at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. Her professional memberships include the American Society of Pediatric Nephrology and the American Society of Nephrology. She is fluent in both English and Arabic. In her spare time, Dr. Gharaybeh enjoys cooking, reading, watching movies, and spending time with her family.
