The Montessori School of Downtown after school program has a rich tradition of engaging academics and exciting activities. When students arrive on campus they begin their afternoon with snack and supervised homework time. After completing homework the afterschool teachers will open up different activity centers, usually two each day. The activity centers are as follows: Architects in Action, Mathematics Can be Fun, Experiments with Young Scientists, Spanish, Rhythm, Crafty Kids at Play, Outdoor Play, Free Choice Time, and our traditional Friday afternoon Movie and Popcorn. In addition to the above mentioned curriculum, there are several paid activities provided by outside vendors that your children may enjoy. Each campus offers Monart, Martial Arts, Robotics, Gymnastics, Mad Science, and private Piano & Violin classes. The after-school program picks up from all area elementary schools.
