Located in Houston, Jefferson Davis Senior High School is a public school that has an enrollment of approximately 1,500 students in grades 9 through 12. It has a staff of nearly 95 full-time certified teachers and paraprofessionals that provides academic classes in reading, language arts, science, social studies, math, writing and physical education. In addition, the school provides a variety of special programs, such as gifted and talented education, Title I, special education, English as a Second Language, and career and technical education. Jefferson Davis Senior High School is a part of the Houston Independent School District, which serves more than 200,000 students in over 300 schools.
