Built in 1981, Holub Middle School is a National Blue Ribbon School and its curriculum includes arts, computers, business, industrial arts, English, foreign languages, health education, math, music, vocational and physical education, and arts and crafts. It has an athletics department that offers sports, such as volleyball, baseball, basketball, swimming, football and chess. The school has various clubs and organizations, such as a robotics club, young leaders in action, student council, chess club and the National Junior Honor Society. The school operates a technology academy that offers a program, which incorporates technology into classes and courses in video production, graphic arts and electronic research. Holub Middle School is located in Houston.
