Genesis Crude Oil is an operating subsidiary of Genesis Energy, which is a part of Denbury Resources. Established in 1996, Genesis Energy offers pipeline transportation, refinery, and supply and logistics services for the oil and gas industry. It provides services to refinery owners; oil, natural gas and carbon dioxide producers; industrial and commercial enterprises that use carbon dioxide and other industrial gases; and individuals and companies that use trucking services. The company has a diverse portfolio of customers, operations and assets, including refinery-related plants, pipelines, storage tanks and terminals and trucks and truck terminals. Genesis Energy provides terminaling, blending, storing, marketing and gathering services to third parties and its other businesses. It owns more than 900 trucks and trailers, as well as over 1 million barrels of liquid storage capacity at different locations in the United States. Genesis Energy primarily operates in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida.
