In 2013 I had some extensive testing done at Excel Diagnostic. At the time, I was told by the Doctor and some other lady that my insurance had pre approved the procedure, but that it was possible they may still not pay because the testing is still somewhat experimental. I was told that if they did not pay, not to worry because I would not be held accountable for the balance. Yesterday, I go to get a follow-up sonogram on my thyroid since they have the records from my previous testing. I was called to verify my insurance and my appointment. Never once was a previous bill mentioned. The moment I arrived I heard the receptionist say "the patient we were talking about is here." After I filled out my paperwork, she called me up and said "were you aware you had a substantial balance that needs to be paid before you can get service?" I told her no, that I had no balance, it had been pre-approved at the time of service and I was told I had no balance due and I have never received a bill.

I have had several tests at Excel and find the staff very friendly and knowledgeable. I never have to wait after my appt. time. Many Dr.s in the area refer me to Excel for best results.
