The company also owns and operates the Elba Island liquefied natural gas regasification facility in the state of Georgia, with approximately 4 billion cubic feet of storage capacity and over 440 million cubic feet per day of send-out capacity. Its parent company, El Paso Corporation own one of North America s largest interstate natural gas pipeline systems, approximately 42,000 miles long, that transports more than a quarter of the natural gas consumed in the United States each day.
