- Criminal DefenseBefore joining Daw & Ray, LLP in July of 2023, Ms. Robinson worked for a plaintiff’s civil litigation firm in Houston, Texas handling employment law and mass tort claims. Ms. Robinson also worked for a criminal defense firm where she advocated for her clients against the State of Texas. Ms. Robinson is currently a member of the State Bar of Texas and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court in the Southern District of Texas.
- Wrongful DeathBefore joining Daw & Ray in March of 2024, Ms. El-Loubani worked for a Plaintiff’s civil litigation firm in Houston, Texas handling wrongful death, premises liability, and personal injury claims. Ms. El-Loubani is currently a member of the State Bar of Texas and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court in the Southern District, Eastern District, and Western District.
- MisdemeanorsPrior to joining Daw & Ray, LLP in October 2024, Mr. Barajas worked as an Assistant District Attorney for the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office. During his time there, Mr. Barajas prosecuted hundreds of criminal cases as he worked his way up to be a Chief Misdemeanor Prosecutor. Mr. Barajas then transitioned to the Civil Division within the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office where he managed hundreds of civil asset forfeiture cases that were filed in Civil District Court.

- Construction LitigationBefore joining Daw & Ray, LLP in October 2024, Mr. Lopez worked for a Plaintiff’s civil litigation firm in Bryan, Texas assisting with construction defect claims. Mr. Lopez also previously served in the Texas Army National Guard. Mr. Lopez is currently a member of the State Bar of Texas and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court in the Western District.
- Property DamageMs. Tajipour’s areas of concentration include first and third party insurance defense, particularly in property damage litigation and arbitration arising from construction defect. She is also a certified mediator.
- Personal InjuryOn January 22, 1996, Mr. Ray joined the firm as a Partner. On January 3, 1997, Mr. Ray became a Named Partner and the law firm of Daw & Associates became Daw & Ray as it is known today. Mr. Ray has been Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 1991 and has achieved Martindale-Hubbell’s highest rating for legal ability and ethical standards based on both judicial and peer review.

- Tax LawDuring law school, Mrs. Willingham secured a position in the Pro Bono Honors Program through her participation in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program, Aid to Victims of Domestic Abuse Program, and Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals Program. Mrs. Willingham successfully competed in the South Texas Mock Trial Competition and concurrently served as Vice President of the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association. Prior to joining Daw & Ray, LLP, Mrs. Willingham advocated for individuals with a focus on tax law, immigration law, and contract law. Mrs. Willingham is currently a member of the State Bar of Texas.
