This center is charging patients for services that were provided without authorization. The charges were denied by the insurance company due to the procedure performed not requiring the patient to be put under. The providers are responsible and asked to receive authorization before providing services and not just administer anesthesia to patients when it is not deemed necessary. It is not acceptable to just charge a patient when no authorization was granted by insurance company. More than a year after procedure, the patient's credit card is charged for over a $1,000 with no notice or bills sent to the patient. That is not acceptable practices.
