Founded in 1987, Bell Geospace develops and sells high-resolution gravity gradient solutions to the mining, oil, gas and government sectors using its three-dimensional full tensor gradiometer system, known as 3-D FTG. The company s products include Air-FTG, Marine FTG and 3-D FTG. Air-FTG is an airborne gravity gradiometer capable of measuring all components of the gradient tensor, providing a more precise definition of geological features. Marine-FTGTM is particularly powerful for offshore oil and gas exploration areas that traditionally have poor seismic quality. The 3-D FTG system accurately measures extremely small changes in subsurface densities in all directions at prospect level resolution. These tensor components offer both qualifiable and quantifiable physical data, constraining seismic, magnetic or gravity data.
