Our resources will be dedicated towards improving the health status of those we serve through education, treatment and rehabilitation Our hospital is licensed for 25 acute beds and 28 skilled nursing / nursing home beds and has a service area of over 18,000. Services are typical of those of an acute hospital and include a 24 hour physician covered emergency room, comprehensive medical / surgical services and multitude of out-patient services including occupational and physical therapy, speech therapy, respiratory therapy, cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation. Full time physician services include internal medicine, gynecology, obstetrics, family practice, urology, general surgery, pediatrics, orthopedic surgery and radiology. We are able to offer the following services in Houlton through our Outpatient Specialty Clinics: neurology, endocrinology (adult & pediatric), oncology, ear/nose/throat, allergy testing, rheumatology, pain management, physiatry and a pacer clinic
