Alamedas was born in the 1930's. It has gone through a few owners, The Elhert ran the place for nearly 50 years as cottages and vacation rentals. Next came our beloved Alameda Ramsey who ran it as a healing spa and motel along with some long term rentals. In 2015, Alameda's changed its corporate ownership "form" from a LLC to a Cooperative. The intention of Alamedas is to provide a clean comfortable place for our guests, a place to soak, wind down and re-energize Our Mission is to create a relaxing, peaceful getaway that supports our guests, ourselves, and our community in healing sustainability, education and prosperity.
