Dealer Automotive Services, Inc. (DAS) was founded in Minnesota in 1976 by brothers Dean and Stanley Rosoff as an aftermarket installation company specializing in the needs of automotive dealerships in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. In the decades that have followed, the Company has remained a family owned business and has grown substantially by expanding our sales area to include the general public and repair shops throughout the nation. We now have a 10 bay service shop and an extensive warehouse for automotive parts.

My car air conditioner stopped working a while back (it kept losing cooling agent pressure within a week after charging), and one day I drove past this place which seemed to specialize on that kind of work, so I figured I'd have them take a look.They charged for the diagnostic and said I could apply that price to later repairs which I found very fair at the time.They told me that two major parts of my a/c system were broken and needed to be replaced. Parts were about $400, labor about $600. I said I had to think about this first.Then a friend who works on building a/c units offered to take a look. At first he only found that a metal ring was no longer oiled properly and could possibly be the source of the leak. That seemed to fix it, but 4 days later the a/c was no longer working again.On his second attempt he managed to locate the exact place where it leaked and when opening up the part found that one rubber o-ring was broken and replaced it.The a/c has been working ever since (o
