Established in 1915, the John Randolph Medical Center is a more than 26,000-square-foot family life center that offers various inpatient and outpatient services. They include obstetrics, behavioral health, oncology, cardiac care and speech therapy. The center is also linked to a nursing home that gives residents easy access to medical services. The John Randolph Medical Center was sold to HCA Richmond Hospital, a network of hospitals and outpatient surgery centers, in 1995. HCA is the official hospital provider of the Washington Redskins for the 2005 season. The center has 275 beds that admit around 6,700 patients each year. The John Randolph Medical Center is headquartered in Hopewell, Va.
