Rockfish Elementary School offers academic instruction to more than 750 students in kindergarten through grade five. The school provides classes in math and reading. It administers the English as a Second Language program. The school offers a variety of activities, such as music, physical education and art. Rockfish Elementary School also provides a gifted program for students with learning disabilities. The school s campus includes a computer laboratory, conference rooms and media and counseling centers. In addition, it has a parent-teacher association that conducts meetings and carnivals. Rockfish Elementary School is governed by Cumberland County Schools, which operates over 85 educational institutions and employs a staff of nearly 6,500 people.
