Located in Hope Mills, N.C., Hope Mills Middle School provides educational programs to students in grades six through eight. The school has an enrollment of more than 750 students and offers a variety of subjects, such as foreign language, health education, mathematics, music, social studies, technology, visual arts, English, and home and career skills. It operates various clubs, including Battle of the Books, National Beta Club and science Olympiad. The school has a guidance and counseling department that provides basic assistance to students regarding scholarships, career planning, and social and mental problems. Its media center offers a range of dictionaries, encyclopedias, maps, magazines, portals, archives and more than 70,000 education-related sites as an additional resource for students. Established in 1904, Hope Mills Middle School is a part of Cumberlands County Schools.
