Tri-County Electric Cooperative provides electrical service throughout the Oklahoma panhandle. The cooperative is owned by the people it serves and is headquartered in Hooker, Okla. It serves households and businesses in the Oklahoma counties of Beaver, Cimarron and Texas. Its staff of more than 50 people monitors the cooperative s more than 4,000 miles of transmission and distribution lines, as well as more than 11,000 meters. Tri-County Electric Cooperative maintains two office locations in Hooker. The cooperative also maintains approximately 20 substations.
