With locations on the Big Island of Hawaii and Oahu, the company provides foodservice wholesaling and distribution services to customers throughout the Hawaiian Island chain. Hata also offers: chilled and frozen foods, canned goods, baking supplies, dietary foods, beverages, disposables and paper goods, chemicals and cleaning supplies, restaurant equipment sales and gourmet foods. Its contract services include: master distributorships, public warehousing, federal commodities program and military distributorship. Y Hata & Company also has the most sophisticated software within the food service industry. It has in place E3 Trim, which is a revolutionary purchasing system, and RoadNet, the last word in delivery technology developed by the United Parcel Service. Recently, the company expanded its chill and freezer capacity by 20 percent and added more new trucks, each with 3 temperature control compartments.
