Great value for the price! Things to try - Shoyu Shortribs on everyday special menu. Fatty bone in pieces but really ono! Their Mochiko chicken is one of the best on the Island short of my mom's. Really dark red after frying probably due to the amount of sugar in recipe. Sweet and tasty. Can be a bit too salty at times. Still like their Beef Stew, which is that tomato soup style of stew. Roast Beef is good when they get a good cut of beef. Have had really good roast beef and other times, so tough that it could not be cut with plastic knife. Used to like the old Diner's Mac Salad made with Best Foods mayo and fresh water cress. New mac salad tastes like commercial mayo from costco--not terrible, but not local style. Mushroom chicken is good if you don't mind bamboo shoots. They had a stuffed boneless chicken thighs (stuffing inside) on the specials menu a few months back that was super ono but I haven't seen it in a while. Open 24 hours. The locals know where to go.
