The first night after my pedicure, the cuticle of my right toe was red and tender. By the second night it developed into an infection. The tissue surrounding the entire nail was red, tender, and oozed. I called Modern Nails and spoke to the manager and another male. Both could not speak enough English to understand my symptoms or offer treatment alternatives. Although they are very nice, it would be reassuring to know someone at this establishment understands enough English to offer a simple explanation as to how to care for an "infected cuticle". Although they are very nice, I'm skeptical about returning due to such language barriers.
