The construction dust is settling. The good is outweighing the bad and the ugly. The ghetto aspect is being addressed. The apartment complex is now about average with other places in the area.

The Good: 15 year old complex being renovated in 2011 with new roofs, A/C, W/H, fridge, stove, D/W, kitchen and B/R cabinets and tile floor, bathtub, toilet, lavatory, B/R exhaust fan, radon mitigation system, carpet and paint. The Bad: Dark, ugly colors, very poor workmanship, tile grout and caulking cracking and splitting, paint full of debris, expensive new CFL lights, cheap, noisy B/R fan wired to B/R light switch. The Ugly: Management is unprofessional, uncaring, non-communicative (with each other and with the tenants), irresponsible and inconsiderate. They violate the spirit of the Florida Tenant/Landlord law, Florida Statute 83. Responsive maintenance calls, no. Theft of anything that you paid for, yes. Rent increases to pay for renovations, yes. Jacked up utility bills from pumping hot humid air in and A/C air out, yes. Not recommended for the above reasons. If you doubt what is written above, come ... and see for yourself ...
