Homer Junior High School provides education to students in grades seven and eight. The school is affiliated with the Homer Central School District. Located in Homer, N.Y., it offers classes in English, mathematics, science, computer, foreign language, social studies and physical education. The school s performing arts department includes music, dance, choir, jazz band and drama. It has several organizations, including student council, radio guild and yearbook. The school organizes concerts, music awards, intermediate plays, memorial day parades, home shows and thespian society plays. Homer Junior High School s clubs include drama, ski, science and weather clubs. The school offers many sports activities, such as field hockey, soccer, cross country, football, wrestling, basketball, softball, lacrosse, track and baseball.
