my 2 stars are not about the food, but rather going in with a child and maybe one in our party was not dressed "nice enough". We were put in a corner table that my granddaughter (7) had to crawl over a chair to get to her seat. A comment was made but dismissed and stated it was prob because we had a child with us but we were never offered another table. It will be a long time before i go back or the next time I won't wait to say something. I did not want to make a scene this time as it was for an occasion and that person would have been offended by my asking to have table changed.

We were passing through on the motorcycle and stopped for a bite. Such a wonderful experience. Ate outdoors in the sunshine and ordered the limonchello shrimp appetizer, which was delish, and the waitress suggested the house salad which was beautifully presented with many yummy salad extras. We were offered desert and I would highly recommend sharing the banana cream pie. It was light and cool on this hot afternoon. I have since recommended Dasher's to friends. The Pub was a great find!

i loved my experience at dashers, my food was great and my server made me feel as though i wasnt just a customer, but that she enjoyed me being there.. everything was wonderful and even if your server is not around everyone else is willing to help! i will be coming back!

Dasher's has such great potential as a dining place for heritage, cultural, and recreational tourists. The location is ideal in the heart of Homer's Historic District. The quality of the food is superb, but the quantity is insufficient for the price charged. The entree included a little rice and a little portion of mixed vegetables, but a tossed salad should have been included. The dessert was bigger than the entree. With a few tweaks, Dasher's could be bursting with business. A dining room is needed on the second floor, especially if the clientele expands at this historic pub.

Tonight was my first visit to Dashers Pub and was pleasantly pleased. Smiling staff, great drinks and something on the menu for everyone. I really enjoyed the appetizer special Gator Bites, and had the Lobster Thermidor for my entree. Very happy with the overall experience and cannot wait to go back. Maybe lunch.

Don't even deserve one star. bad food, way overpriced. owner doesn't care to take the time to make his customers happy. will never go back

Glad to see a new local restaurant open and hope it remains open. Food was very good but dinner entrees did not include nor did the menu offer options of a side vegetable or salad which I would have expected for the price. Also bread was not offered while we waited for our dinners. Maybe this is the norm for a "pub" style restaurant. These minor additions would add to a very satisfying dining experience and would make me frequent the restaurant more often and invite guests along.

Hmm sounds personal, Just had yummy prime rib and a famous Dashers whiskey sour!

Bartender Leah was so helpful. When we couldn't find our waitress she took right over and helped out us. She made great suggestions and was a pleasure. Made great cocktails as well.

The best of the best. Just had dinner with my family. What a great place, such a blessing someone did something with the place. Everyone is so friendly, the owner came out, thanked us for coming. The waitress Namomie was so great, food was even better. We will be back!

Just had the best clam chowder! What a treat, to have in Homer NY. I'll be back :)

This was a great dining experience. Excellent menu, great service, very fair pricing for the quality of food. This is a gem of restaurant in Homer that I highly recommend.

Menu is large and has quite a selection. A bit pricey but the food is well worth it. The prime rib is delicious and the lobster is great. Definately will be going back

If this was an attempt at running a restaurant they fail miserably. The so called chef was limited in menu choice's only one vegetable over seasoned , the signature ribeye was tough not cooked properly no salad bread or offer of coffee or dessert. Over priced and misrepresented by the Cortland Standard. Will not be back.

Not cheap but damned good food.
