- X-raysIf dental X-rays or photos are required, they will be taken to understand the overall health of your mouth and accurately diagnose any dental issue.
- Oral Cancer ScreeningMany oral health concerns can only be detected through a thorough examination by a trained dentist. Dental checkups provide oral cancer screenings, digital X-rays to check for hidden issues, and professional cleanings to eliminate plaque, bacteria, and other buildups that daily brushing and flossing won’t effectively eliminate.
- Teeth CleaningAs leading dental hygienists, we believe in the power of teeth cleaning, flossing, sealants, and fluoride to prevent dental disease. Our focus is on thorough dental care exams to check your teeth, gums, and overall health. At Amazing Smiles, we are equally concerned about your smile as we are about your well-being.
- Fluoride TreatmentFluoride Treatments: Professional fluoride treatments, especially for children, can strengthen developing teeth and help prevent decay.
- Dental SealantsSealants are a thin protective coating applied to teeth, serving to protect against the development of cavities. While commonly used for children, adults can also benefit from this preventive treatment. By applying sealants to the deep chewing surfaces of your rear teeth, the likelihood of cavity formation is decreased. These grooves and pits can be challenging to clean with a toothbrush, making them susceptible to cavities. The application of sealants creates a smoother and more accessible surface for brushing, minimizing bacteria in these areas. Sealants offer a swift and cost-effective means of preventing cavities and the need for tooth fillings.
- Space MaintainersA space maintainer is a dental appliance used to preserve the space left by a prematurely lost primary tooth until the permanent tooth erupts. They help prevent misalignment and potential orthodontic issues by holding the space open. Space maintainers can be fixed or removable and are crucial in maintaining optimal oral health. Regular dental check-ups are essential to monitor their effectiveness and ensure proper dental development.
- Fillings
- Resin CompositeTemporary dental crowns protect and maintain the function of a tooth while a permanent crown is being made. They serve as a protective cover, shielding the reshaped tooth from sensitivity and damage while also helping to maintain normal chewing and speaking functions. Additionally, they provide a cosmetic solution to prevent visible gaps and keep the proper spacing between teeth to ensure a good fit for the permanent crown. Made from materials like acrylic or composite resin, these crowns are attached with temporary cement, making them easy to remove when it’s time to place the permanent crown. Typically, they are used for about two to three weeks.
- VeneersDiscover the transformative power of dental veneers at Amazing Smiles. With both porcelain and composite options available, veneers offer a quick, effective way to enhance your smile's appearance in just two visits.
- CrownsWhen a wisdom tooth lacks necessary space to emerge properly, it’s classified as an impacted wisdom tooth. Impaction severity varies based on the tooth’s position within the jaw. Soft tissue impaction arises when the tooth’s crown breaches the bone but remains covered by gum tissue. Partially bony impaction occurs when the tooth partially erupts but remains partly submerged in the jawbone. Complete bony impaction entails the tooth being entirely encased by jawbone.
- BridgesDental crowns and bridges offer dependable solutions for lost or damaged teeth, restoring functionality and providing a natural appearance. Crafted from high-quality materials, our restorations seamlessly integrate with your natural teeth, ensuring durability and excellent performance.

- OverdenturesImplant overdentures replace all or some of upper or lower teeth in your mouth. These dentures snap onto implants in your jaw, holding them in place until you remove them at night.
- Dental ImplantsDental implants serve as an effective tooth replacement. Implants can provide a permanent solution that looks and functions naturally, whether you have lost one tooth or many.
- Oral SurgeryWisdom teeth are the third molars in the very back of your mouth. They don’t always need to be removed, but they can cause problems if they are not growing in properly. We provide advanced state-of-the-art oral surgery and wisdom teeth removal. If you’re struggling with your wisdom teeth, please call us for a free consultation.
- Gum SurgeryLocal Anesthesia: This is the most common type of anesthesia used in dentistry. It numbs a specific area of the mouth and is used for procedures such as fillings, root canals, or gum surgery. Local anesthetics such as lidocaine are injected near the site of the procedure.
- Tooth ExtractionsTooth extraction is generally a quick and simple procedure. To ensure your comfort, we administer local anesthesia to the extraction location. The most crucial phase is the recovery process. Our primary objective is to facilitate proper healing immediately after the tooth extraction. To achieve this, we will provide you with a gauze pad to bite down on for approximately 30 to 45 minutes, to control bleeding and allow for a blood clot to form. It is essential to handle the blood clot with extreme care for the next 24 hours. To manage swelling that may occur, we recommend applying an ice pack to the outer cheek. Gentle rinsing with warm salt water is also beneficial in maintaining cleanliness in the extraction area.
- Bone GraftingThe second treatment is called bone grafting and is often required when bacteria and plaque have reached the jawbone and caused some amount of deterioration and decay. Your dentist must surgically access the damaged jawbone in order to regenerate it. This is accomplished by applying proteins and artificial bone-like material to the areas of decay. This will help encourage new bone growth. Bone grafting is often a necessary step for strengthening the jawbone so that it can support dental implants to replace missing teeth.
