Banks County Middle School is a public school that is a part of the Banks County School System, which operates various primary, elementary, middle and high schools with a combined enrollment of more than 2,700 students. Located in Homer, Ga., it offers educational instruction to over 600 students in grades six through eight. The school maintains a guidance and counseling department that provides basic assistance to students regarding scholarships, career planning, and social and mental issues. Banks County Middle School s academic curriculum includes English, science, language arts, spelling, reading, communication skills, computer applications, social studies, math, music, art, and health and physical education.
