My family went camping at this campground in April 2009 and found it to be a totally delightful experience! The tent section is totally separate from the RV section and located around a small lake. The grounds were neat, clean and well-maintained and the management was friendly and helpful. Our boys had great fun on the playground equipment and fishing in the lake. (It also has a pool) It feels like you are "away from the hustle and bustle" yet it is convenient to Charleston and various local attractions. I would highly recommend going to the campground in order to visit Charleston "on a budget." It was quiet at night and we felt completely safe.
