We placed a call ahead order on 3/5/2010 for 7pm, almost two hours prior to our needed delivery time. When 15 minutes beyond that time had elapsed, I contacted the store and was told that they hadn't even left to deliver. A phone call to explain the delay would have been appreciated but I thanked them and waited almost 15 minutes more for the delivery. The driver was very polite and delivered both pizzas and sodas. As he was pulling out I detected an odor coming from the pizza and discovered anchovies on top. I double checked the order and noted that the error had been made on my part. I selected ham, pineapple, and extra cheese on the second pizza before tabbing down to the next section. I must have accidentally selected anchovies.This was my fault and I admit that. I contacted the store, intending to ask if something could be done or, if not, reorder. I asked to speak with a manager. The general manager, John, was rude and snapped at me over the phone even when I asked him firmly not to yell. I was told that they were busy, it was my fault, and he wouldn't do anything about it. I never reached the opportunity to reorder as I could not stand to speak with him any longer and informed him I would be sending a complaint. I am still stunned. He lost a potential sale and my satisfaction with his business. On two previous occassions we have had to send the driver back for forgotten sodas but I have never had a problem with their service. The misorder was my fault. His behavior was uncalled for. If this is the quality of service we can expect, why should we ever reorder?
