I had the worst experience at this post office today.I usually do my business on line;but needed to have this letter certified I got to the counter and told the man behind the counter his name is JAVIER what I needed.His attitude was here fill these two papers out.I did return and paid for the certified letter as he is getting my change I ask how long do it take locally he said three to seven days I said three to seven days?Well why did I say that he took the pen and threw it on the counter and said if you wanted it to get there sooner you have to tell me these things.Now here fill this out to get your money back and I put it in this big envelope.I said to him all I did was ask you a question you dont have to get upset and start throwing your pen he then said I am not upset I just letting you know for the next time.I said there wont be a next time. I look on the reviews and his name is there why his he still at the counter.I got better treatment at auto zone. The sad part of this is our seniors have to deal with a lot of this crap.The young ones does everything on line.JAVIER YOU ARE FIRED!

I have lived at the same address for over five years. I've waited for a much needed check that was sent certified. I've waited days and when I spoke with the post office, the reason it has not been delivered is they said there are two addresses for me. Five years the letters have arrived, except certified or Christmas ones. What is wrong with this picture? Should I charge the post office for the overdraft fees I incurred because they could not/would not deliver my certified letter?

I actually created an account here after reading the ONE ridiculous high marking review regarding passport and phone etiquette of this branch (it's also MY branch living directly east by the intracoastal.) IF true, that certainly must have been a hallucination. Not only have I tried to contact the post office by phone for three days about a passport appointment, my mail carrier has not dropped off, nor picked up my mail four working postal days. The mail is out, visible and can't be missed if they practically tripped over it. Since living so close, I did go physically to the office itself. I was given incorrect info by passport attendant of the day, as confirmed by government website and courthouse passport office. When I confronted them regarding my unsuccessful phone attempts, I was acknowledged with a smirk and a "Yes, I know." It's just fact that they have no intentions of answering the phone, so don't bother.Although some have issues with the antiquated Dania post office, I did call them later after seeing they had passport assistance as well. They answered on the first ring.... Not once, but twice....when I called back to really give my gratitude for helping and taking the time to answer all my questions. At least there are small pleasantries here... You will never get those at Polk Street post office (They are lost with my mail.) A forced 1star rating just to submit this review is a GIFT to Polk PO

The worst customer service I ever encounter they are 2 employee nice in there rest they have such a bad attitude and that for years and getting worse and worse.

Nobody ever answers the phone in this post office. They are rude. The person in charge of the passport's applications barely speaks English and he really has bad attitudes...Worse post office in Broward county!! Do not go there for services....Nobody will help you !

yesterday august 28th we received no mail! the address is 1901 pierce street. our regular mail person is on vacation! This also happened on a Saturday 2 weeks ago! I believe august 9th or 15th again our regular guy was off! I thought rain or shine the mail must go! I do believe there is something wrong! Could we please get the mail!!!

I have been trying to call this post office for three days to make an appointment to obtain a passport. It is either constantly busy or they simply do not answer. This facility should never be the place to go to obtain a passport. It is very frustrating that no one answers even at 8:00 in the morning.

I called this post office ( which is my local branch ) and I was pleasantly surprised, the lady that answered my phone call was very articulate, knowledgeable and had a great professional attitude. She not only answered my query but had someone call me back to resolve the issue the same day ! This is definitely one of the Best customer service experiences I have ever had. Thank you POLK ST. PO HOLLYWOOD FLORIDA.

passport section is the worst! the place opens at 8am but they don't do passports til 10, meanwhile ppl sit around waitingfor hours. the clerk then brings out the "take a number" stand and let's everyone fight for a number like animals.
