Typically, the local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) requires all permit applications for fire alarm systems new and retrofit to be provided by a UL, FM or ETL Certified company. In addition, the AHJ mandates in the Fire Code (NFPA 101) that qualified companies perform inspection, testing and maintenance services. A1 Fire & Security is a UL Certified Fire Protection Contractor and Service Company, with a large fleet of trucks and extensive experience in new and retrofit life safety system project applications.
