Mississippi Central Railroad Company is an interline carrier that operates more than 50 miles of tracks. It offers a range of rail transportation services and serves Grand Junction, Michigan City, Holly Springs, Abbeville and Oxford stations in Mississippi. The company provides shipping services for outbound finished wood and inbound products, such as resins, chemicals, pulpwood, cottonseeds and fertilizers. Mississippi Central Railroad Company has a yard and storage track capacity of over 300 rail tracks. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Pioneer Railcorp, which is a holding company which conducts railroad operations. Incorporated in 1986, the parent company also offers railroad equipment leasing services.
