Don't be fooled....Bogdon isn't honest anymore since business has picked up for him he has become a liar and theif!!!! In the last week I started having my breaks sound like the metal is rubbing; so I took it into Bogdon. At first I was quoted over $200 because the calipher needed to be changed (on the back breaks) They were price guoging me on the breaks so I went ahead and bought the brakes at Advance for a lot less. Even after I purchased the brakes the bill still ended up almost $200. After I left the shop, immediately I realized the brakes still sounded like the metal was rubbing. So I went back. This time I was told the hub assembly was bad and it was gonna cost $400. Realizing that maybe I was being ripped off because now I am looking at about $600 in less than 2 days....I was stuck because my car was already taken apart and was extremely dangerous. So I was made to believe that they were gonna help me out and they seemed to make it look like they took some off the bill. Keep in mind I also needed my front breaks fixed as well. After the car was fixed and I looked at the bill they still were getting the most expensive set of brakes possible and price gouging me on them. Also, as I drove away the car wobbled extremely and only got worse over 2 days. Because it seems so dangerous and I have kids I took it back and demanded they fix what they had done wrong. Instead of fixing it, I was now quoted $600 for rods, pistons, ect. I was told the car wobbling was not because they did anything wrong but because you can't put old parts on new parts. The problem I see is that, I understand you cannot do that, but parts don't go bad instantly after leaving a mechanic it takes a little while. My car wobbled so dramatically after leaving them it seemed like the tire was going to fall off and I was getting codes on my odemeter (for the tire). Please explain to me how it is worse than when I brought it in and the old parts went bad as soon as I left their shop. So of course I told them nevermind I will have someone else fix it. And then at that point I realized I had been con-ed. The mechanic started with well we can still fix it, how much do you have. We can make it happen now and the wheeling and dealing began. And I was now proven that I had been con-ned from the begining; just like I suspected all along. So after I leave I head to Advance to get the parts which only costed me $80 whereas their parts quote was $450. The sad thing is that I have been going to Bogdan for years and the only reason I got con-ed was because of the relationship I had already build and my guard was down. But they are just like any other shop that cons people and the wait time is 3x more. I recommend if you don't want to be taken for $1000s don't go here; they are not what they used to be (honest)!!!! I will be disputing charges because at this point my vehicle is worse off than when I brought it to them....I did not get what I paid for and I am not being refunded or the problem fixed.... and I have given them now 3 chances to fix it correctly.
