Not very happy when I called to get my child a cleaning and the receptionist more or less told me to find a new dentist that he was getting to old to go there. Sorry I thought you were considered to be in pediatrics until you were 18. No problem moving on :) You should talk about this with the parent in the office not over the phone when trying to schedule a appointment.

I first brought my daughter to W.MI Ped Dentistry in an acute setting. She would let no one in her mouth - even just to look. She would cry and resist at other dental offices, from the moment she sat in the chair. W.MI.Peds took their time with her, talked her through every step of the exam, and worked her back to clean, healthy teeth. I was very worried that she would have alot of permanent damage due to other dentists not being able to give her routine exams and cleaning. Dr. Bouwens and the dentists in his practice have a tough job. But they really understand that gentle, patient practice really can lead to a lifetime of good dental care. I am always beyond satisfied when I leave there to see how far my daughter has come, with their help. I have recommended this practice to anyone facing issues with getting their child to great dental care!

This office is professionally run, clean, timely and Dr. Bolt treats my children in a very calm and caring way. I've been very impressed! The first time my daughter went, she was a little scared. The nurse gave her some "sunglasses" to wear to protect her eyes from the light above and everything went smoothly with those magic glasses on (and it helps that each child gets a toy after each visit). There's a great train that runs through the waiting room and patient rooms up near the ceiling. Some large toys in the waiting room also help to entertain children.

These guys work very well with kids. I'm so happy we found them.
