I've been saving this review until my partner and I found housing. We are extremely happy with the people who rented to us. I'm newly moved to the area as me and my partner of three years decided to move in together. We were looking for new accommodations and ran across an ad in either Craigslist or FaceBook. It was a reasonably priced place and in good shape. I phoned the company and heard back pretty quickly. I have stellar credit, but I'd just moved to the area. My partner was the bread winner, but her credit was weak at the time. This is because she'd gone through a few major life issues In succession of one another -- one of which was cancer. When I'd gotten on the phone with one of the owners of the company, I explained all of this in detail as well as giving him fairly good ballpark estimations of our credit scores. He was very eager to have us in and made it sound like everything else was just formality. We made the appointment and saw one of the owners soon after. Once they had us in and had a good look at us (both me and my partner are minorities), their eagerness dropped. Despite this, we had a cordial exchange, but, when we went back to the company headquarters, they questioned us about personal details as if it was all new to them. As if I hadn't explained everything in detail beforehand. Before long, they let us know they'd get back to us. They said it in such a way as if saying, "we're not renting to you.", and sure enough, we didn't get it. I'm sure there are plenty of people quite happy with keystone properties, but it's imbeded in the name "keystone". You have to fit just "right" for everything to hold together.
