General Info

The Snider family migrated from Eastern Texas to Olympia Washington in 1920s where it founded its first butcher shop. From there the family has moved from Coos Bay Oregon to Southern California, where we had independent butcher shops for sixty years. In 1981 the family moved from Southern California to Ogden Utah and opened Snider Family Meats. Not long after, in 1992, we opened Snider Bros. Meats in Salt Lake City, Utah. While our family may have moved many times over the last six generations of our family we have always held to a common set of core principles that shape our business. We still offer the highest quality products and customer service possible each and every day.

Ordered meat in good amounts 3 seperate times. On the LAST order, I not only was overcharged, I was also given a much less than quality cut, I was told that that was the the owner said to do it so I must be wrong about what I ordered. For any important event, you cannot trust someone who cannot deliver consistantat work or product. I wasted my time money and trust on them and will NEVER return. I will also tell anyone I know to go anywhere else.

The quality is the best and you can taste it. If your not satisfied with the meat- then maybe its the chiefs problem. Prices arent bad, considering quality and knowledge of knowing where your meat has been. The employees know what they are talking about and are helpful to get any kind of cut you want. The environment is friendly and the sandwiches are to die for. I highly suggest a visit. Try the Santa Maria Tri-tip, great roast which everyone will love- on the grill or in the oven.
