I agree 110% with the owner's comments! I first ate there a couple weeks ago, and six of us are going back tonight. The food is EXCELLENT, the portions are HUGE, and his wife and the rest of the staff are WONDERFUL!!!!

A quaint little setting, with a very friendly staff and excellent food!We went again on Christmas day, quite a few people were there, and we got seated and served right away. The owner is very friendly and makes you feel at home. The food is out of this world. We will continue to go back for as long as it stays open.

I would highly recommend " The German restaurant" my mother has been so hungry for hot german potato salad. She saw this restaurant when we were out one day and we stopped. Although the potato salad was not like her aunts the food was good and everyone there was wonderful. I am not of german descent and it is possible that the former owners were not as friendly. I believe that the new owners will be successful and I do wish them all of the best. The restaurant was quite full at 230 pm. We were made to feel quite at home there and will return.

Unless you are of German descent, you seem to be treated very badly here. My wife and I went here and waited 20 minutes at the table to be served. The "meal" they serve are extremely poor rations and not very tasty and WAY overpriced. We were passed more than a dozen times by the 3 people working there and never once were asked if our glasses needed refilling, and in fact were never spoken to, while in the meantime, the German tables to our left were pampered the whole time. Worst restaurant I have ever been to.
